Art can make or break a design..
This design was inspired by this beautiful artwork by Justyna Kopania - “River” . An absolutely stunning work or art with colors that are so captivating and pleasing to the eye, it made for a gorgeous piece to sit above an ornate fire place as the focal point of the room.
So for this design, we wanted to carry the colors that are so warm and vibrant throughout the space but in a way that the other pieces didn’t take a way from the splendor of this piece. Choosing navy blue as the over all color scheme of the room for its unbelievably calming nature, against gloss white wall moldings creates a really polished feel and ambience.
Color Palette
Being that this is a design concept for a medium sized family, comfortable and generous seating was key, arranged in a manner that makes for a cozy and intimate conversation area but also allows for indulgent relaxation at its best!. These stylish armchairs with brass base complement the sofa or sectional and two small ottomans are the perfect way to add additional seating that can be returned to their place easily when not in use.
Metallic finishes help add an elegant modern touch to the space, this splendid 2-Tier chandelier with crystal accents as striking as it is, undoubtedly commands its place in the center of the room. Accent lighting in the form of this Tall Tree floor lamp and brass table light with duponi white shade add a further level of desired lighting as well as character to this space.
Finally, to further continue a classic modern touch to this space, this luxurious faux silk zebra print area rug adds a fashionably stylish yet soft and cozy feel to the conversation area while tying all the elements together just perfectly!.
